Meet the Team

Anil K Gupta, MD

Dr. Gupta received his medical degree from King George’s Medical College in India. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. He has been in private practice since 2001. Dr. Gupta has worked as a staff psychiatrist at the Greenleaf Center in Valdosta, Georgia. He has worked at Behavioral Health Services of South Georgia for several years. He is a member of American Psychiatric Association.

Michele L. Walker, LCSW

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in a variety of areas in mental health for 20 years. Michele received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Valdosta State College in 1992 and her Masters degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University in 1999. Michele's experience includes providing clinical therapy at a drug & alcohol rehabilitation center, directing a local outpatient mental health center, holding a position as an adjunct professor at Valdosta State University, consulting services for the Department of Family & Children Services in central and south Georgia, and providing crisis intervention services with a local battered women’s shelter & rape crisis center. Michele has provided a variety of clinical services within the agencies she has served including crisis intervention & debriefing, support groups, life-skills groups, relapse prevention interventions, individual and family therapies, and couples therapy. She works well with all populations and specializes in emotional & behavioral problems in children, child abuse, domestic violence, trauma, work-related stress, disability, anger management, depression and anxiety disorders.

Michele has enjoyed her recent years in private practice. When discussing her view of treatment she states, “I’m aware that life can be challenging and full of stress. At times we need a helping hand to help us cope and work through those challenges. My primary interest is a strength-based, holistic approach in working with those experiencing difficulty due to unexpected challenges faced in their daily lives. In a relaxed, confidential environment you will be able to find your way through these personal challenges that hold you back. Through encouragement, guidance and support I will help you to take back control of your life and assist you with the tools you need to become healthy and happy once again.”
Susan R. Gordon, LCSW

Graduated with honors from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics and Valdosta State University with her Master of Social Work degree. She is licensed by the state of Georgia where she has worked in counseling for the last 12 years. Her experience includes serving as director of an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization service program She currently provides counseling for clients with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders) and Disruptive Behavior problems, Impulse Control Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders (Depressive and Bipolar), Adjustment Disorders and Substance-Related Disorders. Susan is dedicated to her chosen profession and to her clients. She has experience in providing services to all ages and is especially passionate about her work with children, adolescents, teens and their parents. She is also experienced and enjoys providing marital counseling, life-skills coaching, stress management (work-related or personal), unresolved grief and providing crisis intervention and debriefing. She understands that families are challenged during personal growth and development, during hard economic times and during changes in life, for better or worse. Susan says, “It is my hope and commitment to provide services to my clients that give them courage and guidance to help them “help themselves” in making positive changes at home, work or school. I will provide sustained and effective help and support in a friendly, confidential setting. It will be rewarding… and it could even be fun!” 
Christen Cribbs

Christen Cribbs is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. She graduated from Valdosta State University in 2003 with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and again in 2006 with a master/s of science degree in clinical counseling/psychology. Since graduation, she has served a variety of clients including families with developmentally delayed children, teens, adults by using a combination of techniques from the cognitive behavioral therapy and rational emotive therapy approaches. Christen has experience in the treatment of unresolved grief, substance abuse and/or addiction, anxiety related disorders, depression, and personality disorders. She has experience in providing individual and group counseling in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as within the state correctional setting.
Megan Tillman, LMFT

A licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, skilled, passionate, and dedicated to providing respectful treatment for individuals, couples, families, and children. Megan graduated with her Bachelors Degree from Valdosta State University in 2006 and went on to earn her Masters Degree from Valdosta State University in 2009.

Megan approaches client's problems from a systemic, strength-based perspective, with a deep appreciation for context. She is EMDR trained and eager to assist client's in overcoming trauma, anxiety, depression, behavior problems, unresolved grief, relational difficulties, women's issues, and other treatment issues.
Charles Parramore, LPC  

Charles Parramore is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling/Psychology from Valdosta State University in 2003 and has worked as a mental health counselor and therapist for over twelve years in a variety of settings including a community service board, a residential facility for children, a state correctional facility and most recently, in a private practice setting. He is experienced in conducting individual, group and family counseling with children, adolescents and adults. He often employs Play Therapy for younger children in combination with psycho-education for parents and focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adolescents and adults. He has experience in treating anxiety related disorders, depression, Bipolar Disorder and personality disorders.  
Renu Gupta

Renu Gupta has masters level education. She worked with Valdosta school system for 5 years and enjoys working with children. She is the adminstrator and the Privacy Officer for the center.
